Brentwood Bank Appoints Thomas D. Bone to Board of Directors

 July 17, 2024 – Pittsburgh, PA: Brentwood Bank President & CEO Tom Bailey announced today that the Bank has added Thomas D. Bone, former Vice President-Tax at Crown Castle International Corp., to the Brentwood Bank Board of Directors.

“We are delighted to have Tom return to our bank board,” said Tom Bailey, President and CEO of Brentwood Bank. “Tom has been a major contributor to our institution over the years, bringing a vast range of financial expertise that will continue to foster our growth as a community bank.”

Mr. Bone returns to the Brentwood Bank Board of Directors, previously serving on the board from 2006 to 2011. In his previous involvement, he has served various committees, including as the chair of the Capital Committee.

Mr. Bone led the tax function at Crown Castle International, one of the largest infrastructure providers, prior to his retirement. There he directed a 25-person team responsible for income, property, sales/use and regulatory tax reporting, examination and compliance.

Mr. Bone has significant experience in mergers and acquisitions and lead a successful transition to a Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) making the Crown Castle the third-largest REIT in the U.S. at the time of election.

Prior to Crown Castle, Mr. Bone was a Partner at KPMG LLP primarily serving financial institutions, real estate entities, venture capital and other commercial non-financial clients. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from West Virginia University, where he graduated summa cum laude.

In the community, he served on several community boards over the years, including the treasurer of the Mt. Lebanon Baseball Association and the Blue Devil Club. Mr. Bone has served on the Board of Teacher Excellence Foundation and been a lecturer at the University of Pittsburgh instructing undergraduate classes in corporate tax.
