PITTSBURGH, PA – April 9, 2025 – Brentwood Bank is proud to announce a strategic partnership with the Allegheny County Housing Authority (ACHA) to support the development of affordable housing options across the region. As part of this collaboration, Brentwood Bank has provided a $5 million on-demand line of credit and deposit services tailored to the needs of ACHA’s growing footprint.
The line of credit will enable ACHA to acquire sites throughout Allegheny County suburbs with the goal of placing families in homes they can eventually own. The initiative aligns with both organizations’ shared commitment to community development, stability, and long-term economic empowerment.
“This partnership with Brentwood Bank is a crucial step in expanding affordable housing opportunities across Allegheny County,” said Richard Stephenson, Acting Director of the Allegheny County Housing Authority. “By securing flexible funding and banking services, we’re able to move quickly on property acquisitions that will give more families the chance to achieve housing stability and ultimately home ownership.”
“This partnership represents the type of local investment that makes a lasting difference,” said Frank Buonomo, SVP, Chief Marketing and Communications Officer, Brentwood Bank. “We are proud to support ACHA’s innovative approach to helping families transition from renters to homeowners, and we look forward to growing this relationship.”
In addition to the financing, Brentwood Bank is also providing a full suite of treasury management solutions through its dedicated treasury management team to support ACHA’s operational needs.
Joe Verduci, SVP, Commercial Banking Officer at Brentwood Bank, added, “Our team worked closely with ACHA to ensure they have the tools and flexibility they need as they scale this important initiative. It’s a true partnership that aligns with our mission to strengthen our local communities.”
